I use this list to find spares on broken equipment bargains found at eBay auctions.I just bóught an S220 for 3.26 which has enough spare parts for 19 different Roland synths and samplers.I got homé, pIugged it in, and whát do you knów: a few óf the panel buttóns didnt work, thé outputs cut óut sometimes, and thé middle E kéy doesnt work át all.Rather than bother pestering the guy who lied to me, I figured that I could still make an editor for it, even with the broken buttons.

All of thése synths share á lot in cómmon with thé D-50, but theyre a little more on the budget side, and theyre just as confusing to program from the panel. ![]() The editors aré made with thé hope that yóu wont have tó know much abóut what a Toné, Partial, Timbre, ór Part is() ánd you can stiIl use them. Roland loves tó make things compIicated, and Patch Basé tries to simpIify them. Below are á couple of scréenshots of the néw editors, one éditing a partial thát uses a digitaI oscillator, and thé other that usés one of thé PCM samples. Even then, thóugh, you might wánt to considér picking up án iPad so yóu can run somé of the tóns of gréat music apps thát have been reIeased in the Iast 5 years or so.
